ORTHOPEDIC SURGERY

Orthopedic surgery is the surgical specialty whose purpose is the prevention and correction of conditions of the musculoskeletal system, which cover deformities and malformations of bones, joints, muscles, tendons and nerves.

The surgical treatment involves the upper limbs (shoulder, elbow and paw), the lower limbs (hip, knee and foot) and the spine.
